Ability Van Rentals has 4 locations in the state of Ohio. Please see our locations

3. Do you deliver accessible vans? Top
Yes, we can deliver a wheelchair accessible van anywhere in the state of Ohio.
4. What type of accessible vehicles are available? Top
Ability Van Rentals has a diverse fleet of Braun and VMI vehicles. See our
vehicles page for information on accessible van features.
5. Do you provide a driver for van rentals? Top
Ability Van Rentals rents adapted vehicles just like a car rental agency
would rent a standard vehicle. Therefore, we do not provide a driver.
6. Will insurance pay the cost of renting an accessible vehicle?
Top
Yes insurance can cover at least part if not all of the cost of renting a wheelchair
accessible van, when your own vehicle has to be replaced. We also accept other third part payment, such as Vocational
Rehabilitation, Worker's Compensation, and Philanthropic Donations.
7. Do you provide liability and collision coverage on rental vans?
Top
Ability Van Rentals does not sell any type of insurance, therefore we require the
renter to have full coverage auto insurance that transfers to our rental van.
8. Your stores are not located close to me. Where is the closest van rental
location? Top
We can deliver rental vans anywhere in the state of Ohio. If you need rental
service in an area outside of Ohio, please contact us and we will be happy to refer you to a van rental company we trust in your service area.
9. Can I rent a wheelchair accessible van for a one way trip? Top
While we are happy to provide wheelchair accessible van rentals for long trips or
one way trips within the state of Ohio,
we generally do not allow one way rentals
outside of Ohio. However, these situations can sometimes
be accommodated, so contact us and provide details on the trip
you are planning.
